LiPo batteries are safe in the PocketCW2, since the power consumption is very low and charging is performed slowly. Still, for long life and reliability, please follow these recommendations:

- - - - Avoid hitting the battery or the device, as heavy shocks may damage it.
        
        Avoid fully discharging the battery.
        
        Do not use an external charger: simply power the PocketCW2 with 12V d.c. and the battery will charge automatically.
